Felicidades and Thank You!

photo by Sandra AlvaFelicidades and Thank you to all participants in the SA IWD Planning Group and all the community that came out to the march for creating such beautiful and important moments this past Saturday! The 22nd Annual San Antonio International Woman’s Day March & Rally was a great success thanks to the hard work of many San Antonio mujeres and supporting organizations!

Don’t forget about the Post-March Debrief Potluck & Media Share on SATURDAY, March 17th, 12:30pm-2pm at P.E.A.C.E. Initiative (1443 S St. Mary’s, at Eagleland). Join the SA IWD Planning Group in a celebratory review of how things went at this year’s march. Share your feedback and suggestions about what made this march a success and how we can improve on next year’s planning.  Bring your ideas on ways this group can continue to organize throughout the year!

If you or someone you know took pictures and/or video during the march and rally, please bring those to share on March 17th.  (Laptops will be available for downloading pics off a jump drive, cd, external harddrive etc so that we can add them to the photo gallery on this website)
